What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can store in a browser. Similar technologies can also be used to maintain a session or remember a choice.
Workshop and essential sessions
The private Workshop uses a server-side login session. Where PHP is configured to use session cookies, an essential session cookie may be used to keep an authorised user signed in and to support security functions such as form protection. These functions are necessary for the private administration area to operate.
Shopping cart and checkout choices
The public shop currently uses browser local/session storage for functions such as remembering basket contents and temporarily remembering the selected delivery/collection option. Browser storage is stored on your device and is used to provide the shopping functionality you request.
Analytics
The website's current built-in analytics is server-side. It records page activity and a hashed/anonymised visitor identifier for aggregate traffic reporting. It does not rely on a third-party advertising cookie for that built-in reporting.
Third-party services
When you continue to secure payment you are redirected to Stripe. Stripe operates its own service and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies for security, fraud prevention and payment functionality.
Future changes
If optional analytics, advertising, embedded media or other non-essential technologies are added later, this policy and any consent mechanism should be reviewed before those technologies are enabled.
Managing browser storage
You can control cookies and website storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage can prevent parts of the website, cart, checkout or Workshop from functioning correctly.
